TAYLECT - AI Strategy and Leadership. Insights. Decisions. Strategic Advantage.

About Taylect

ABOUT TAYLECT

Helping leaders think more clearly about AI so they can make better decisions.

Every organization is running the same experiment right now, whether they’ve named it or not:

How much of the future can be delegated to a machine, and how much still has to be decided by a person?

Most AI coverage focuses on what the technology can do. Taylect focuses on the harder question: what leaders should do about it.

Dwayne Taylor, Editor of Taylect

Meet the Editor

Taylect is written by Dwayne Taylor, a Product Strategy & AI Leader working in one of Canada’s largest financial institutions.

His career began in Jamaica before expanding across the Caribbean and continuing in Canada, giving him experience across diverse markets and highly regulated environments.

As artificial intelligence became central to his work, he found himself drawn to the questions technology alone couldn’t answer.

Why do some organizations create lasting value from AI while others struggle?

What separates responsible adoption from expensive experimentation?

How should leaders govern systems that are becoming more capable every day?

Those questions became the foundation for Taylect.

Dwayne holds an MBA in Artificial Intelligence Leadership from the University of Fredericton and a background in International Relations, a combination that shapes Taylect’s perspective on AI strategy, governance, and leadership.

At the heart of every edition is a simple belief:

AI creates possibility. Leadership creates advantage.

What Taylect Is

Taylect is an independent AI strategy and leadership publication for leaders navigating the age of AI, from founders and small business owners to executives, board members, and technology leaders.

It isn’t another source of AI news.

Experience Observation Insight

A real-world event becomes the starting point for a leadership question organizations will eventually have to answer.

The goal isn’t simply to explain what happened.

It’s to help leaders understand why it matters and what to do next.

Every edition is grounded in credible research, original frameworks, and independent editorial judgment.
