How Taylect handles membership information, newsletter preferences and website analytics.
Last updated: October 5, 2026
Taylect publishes independent perspectives on AI strategy, leadership and governance. This notice explains how personal information is used when you visit taylect.com, become a member, receive our newsletter or interact with our content.
Information we collect
When you subscribe or sign in, we collect your email address and, if you provide it, your name. Ghost also maintains membership status, subscription preferences and signup information. If you comment or contact us, we receive the information you choose to share. Public comments may be visible to other readers.
Our hosting and delivery providers process technical information needed to serve and protect the website, such as network, browser and device information. Taylect uses Ghost's web analytics to understand visits, referring sources and content performance. Ghost describes its native web analytics as cookie-free; visits by signed-in members can be associated with their member account.
Email open and link-click tracking are enabled for Taylect newsletters. This helps us understand which content readers find useful. These signals are approximate and can be affected by email privacy features.
How information is used
We use this information to deliver requested newsletters, provide member access, manage subscriptions and comments, respond to messages, maintain security, and understand and improve the publication. A subscription also enables operational messages needed to manage your account, such as sign-in links.
Service providers and external services
Taylect runs on Ghost(Pro), which provides hosting, membership, newsletter delivery and analytics services, including through its service providers. Information may be processed in countries other than your own. See Ghost's privacy policy for more about Ghost's practices.
The site also loads fonts and other website assets from external providers. Requests to those providers may disclose technical information such as your IP address. When you follow links to LinkedIn, other social platforms or external websites, their own privacy policies apply.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe using the link in a Taylect newsletter or manage available email preferences through your member account. Unsubscribing from a newsletter does not necessarily delete your membership or information needed to administer it.
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or raise a privacy concern, using the contact details below. Available rights and any exceptions depend on applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.
Retention and security
Personal information is retained as needed to operate the publication, manage your relationship with Taylect, and meet applicable legal and security requirements. We use the access controls and protections available through our service providers. No online system can guarantee absolute security.
Children and Next Gen
Next Gen is an educational initiative for families and educators. Parents and educators should manage newsletter subscriptions on behalf of children and avoid submitting children's personal information. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so it can be reviewed.
Updates and privacy requests
This notice may be updated as the publication or its services change. The date above identifies the latest version.
Privacy contact: Email taylectnews@gmail.com, or reply to a Taylect newsletter. Please identify your request and the email address associated with your membership, if relevant. Do not include passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.
